Objective: -   At the end of the lesson, students are able to   

                     understand and write down the settings in Black  

                     Beauty Novel.

Set Induction	1)  Teacher start the lesson by showing the students a video         trailer about the setting from the Black Beauty Novel. 2)  Teacher ask the students, “What they can see and        understand from the video?” 3)   Students try to answer the teacher’s question voluntarily. 4)  Teacher explains to the students that in today’s lesson, they        are going to learn about the setting of the Black Beauty        Novel.	1) Laptop 2) LCD Projector 3) Video Trailer
Explanation	1)  Teacher distributes the handout to the students. 2)  Teacher explains to the students about the place, time and       people settings and some examples that can be found in the       Novel from slides. 3)  Students listen attentively to the teachers explanation and       pay attention to the power point presentation.	1) Handouts 2) Power Point      Presentation
Class Activity	1)  Teacher instructs the students to sit in pairs with their       classmates and ask them to discuss, as well as write 3       settings that can be found in the novel. 2)  Students follow the teachers instruction and carry out the      activity.
Outcome	1)  Teacher ask volunteers to read the setting that they have        found in the novel, loudly. 2)  Later, teacher discusses the settings with the students.	1) White Board 2) Maker Pen
Closure	1)  Teacher explain briefly about the topic of the day to the        students and they listen carefully.
Extended Activity	1)  Teacher instructs the students to go back home and surf        the internet to find out “What are the challenges faced by        the young people of today’s world?”	1) Internet

Reflection: - 

The lesson went on very well. Students did the activities as instructed and they enjoyed the video trailer and the power point presentation of the Black Beauty Novel. Most importantly, the objectives of today’s lesson were achieved as the students understood the novel’s settings and story-line.
