Objective: - At the end of the lesson, students are able to
understand and write down the settings in Black

1) Teacher start the lesson by showing the students a video
trailer about the setting from the Black Beauty Novel.
2) Teacher ask the students, “What they can see and
understand from the video?”
3) Students try to answer the teacher’s question voluntarily.
4) Teacher explains to the students that in today’s lesson, they
are going to learn about the setting of the Black Beauty
Novel.

1) Teacher distributes the handout to the students.
2) Teacher explains to the students about the place, time and
people settings and some examples that can be found in the
Novel from slides.

Reflection: -
The lesson went on very well. Students did the activities as instructed and they enjoyed the video trailer and the power point presentation of the Black Beauty Novel. Most importantly, the objectives of today’s lesson were achieved as the students understood the novel’s settings and story-line.
